Estate Advice & Consultation

Given the number of years James has spent managing vast swathes of land and estates, he passes the threshold of 10,000 hours to be considered an expert. If you’ve recently acquired a number of acres, but haven’t yet acquired the knowledge of how to maintain them, James is absolutely able to pass on his knowledge and experience. The initial consultation is obviously free of charge.

Additionally James is available to take on temporary Estate Management roles whilst you’re looking for a new Manager for your pre existing ground maintenance teams.

Agricultural Contracting

Cotswold Estates & Ground Maintenance are able to provide a number of agricultural services including but not limited to;

Cultivation – Specific to your terrain, we’re able to offer ploughing, spreading and spraying. Fencing – We’re able to secure fields with pristine fencing, both timber fencing and classic estate fencing. Harvesting – Raking and Mowing. Bailing – As described. Mucking Out – As described.

Other services including but not limited to clearances and ditching.

All of these services can be carried out on an ad-hoc basis.

Planting and Horticulture

If you’re looking to install anything from trees along your driveway, to entire walled gardens, Cotswold Estates & Grounds Maintenance are able to assist you right through from planning, to digging the ground to planting. This is an area we excel in having forged relationships with some of the best nurseries in the South West, we’re able to offer some of the best advice available in designing and installing your dream gardens.

Small Estate Maintenance

We thrive on small estate maintenance, it really is our bread and butter. Broadly speaking, small estate maintenance will involve picturesque garden maintenance with a focus on aesthetics. This generally involves a weekly or bi weekly visit to include strimming, lawn striping, bi annual hedge cutting and the occasional bit of landscaping work.

Large Estate Maintenance

We only take on a very small number of large estates due to the intensity of the work. Large estate maintenance often takes a small team of people visiting 3+ times per week and the work will generally be a varied mix of all the services we provide. Depending on the acreage and composition of your estate, the work will comprise of regular maintenance of private gardens, tractor work for field maintenance, general ground works and frequent landscaping.
